How Taff Accounts Ltd uses information collected through this website.

Who we are

Taff Accounts Ltd (company number 15403204, registered office 85 Councillor Lane, Cheadle, SK8 2HY) is the controller of personal information collected through this website. Contact us at taff@taffaccounts.co.uk.

What we collect

If you use the enquiry form, email, call or message us, we collect the details you give us: usually your name, business name, contact details, a rough idea of your business’s size and a description of what you need help with.

Why we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to prepare a proposal. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. If you become a client, we’ll explain how we use your information as part of our engagement.

Who we share it with

  • Web3Forms, which passes enquiry form submissions to our email inbox
  • Our email provider
  • Cloudflare, which hosts this website, counts visits to it and processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect it

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or approved contract terms. We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don’t lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for the period set out in your engagement letter and as the law requires.

Cookies and visitor statistics

This website doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site from abuse.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It doesn’t use cookies, and it doesn’t identify or follow you as an individual.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing taff@taffaccounts.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
